ANNUAL MEETING – MEETING OF THE ELECTORS                       

 April 21, 2026                                                                                    UNAPPROVED

Chairman Kudick read the order of business at 7:00 pm.

Copies of the order of business, the November 10, 2025 Budget hearing minutes, Treasurer’s financial report, and road work for 2025 were available for all. Chairman Kudick reminded those attending that only qualified electors are allowed to vote.

A move was made by Jon Klueskens to call the meeting to order. There were 19 qualified electors and 2 non-qualified electors in attendance

A motion was made by Dave Bentzler to accept the order of business. Seconded by Nick Vento.   A show of hands vote indicated 11 in favor and 0 opposed.   Motion carried. Time is 7:06 PM.

John Karwieck made a motion to defer the minutes of the April 15, 2025 Annual meeting to November 9, 2026. Seconded by Nick Vento. A show of hands vote indicated 15 in favor and 0 opposed. Motion carried. Time is 7:08 PM.

A motion to approve the financial report for 2025 was made by Dave Bentzler, seconded by Carrie Dudkiewicz. A show of hands vote indicated 17 in favor and 0 opposed. Motion carried. Time is 7:09 PM.  

A motion to approve the budget hearing minutes of November 10, 2025 was made by Deb Cisar. Second by Dave Bentzler. A show of hands vote indicated 16 in favor and 0 opposed. Motion carried. Time is 7:10 PM.

A motion to defer the budget portion of the annual meeting to Monday, November 10, 2025 was made by Dave Bentzler.   Second by John Karweick. A show of hands vote indicated 18 in favor and 0 opposed. Motion carried. Time is 7:11 PM.

Road work done in 2025 was presented with the packet for all electors to view. The Chair asked if there were any questions. None were raised. Specific roads have not been chosen as of today’s date for 2026. Roads will be chosen according to what is budgeted. Supervisor McCabe stated there is 650,000.00 in the budget for roads.

Shari Uhazie made a motion to have Spring road-side clean-up from May 23rd through May 30th , 2026. Second by Dave. The vote showed 19 in favor and 0 opposed. Motion carried.

Under other business, electors from Fabian Lane expressed their wish to have roadwork done on their roadway. The Chair stated the Board has not designated any roads for 2026 yet. They have to get bids first.

Gail Freitag made a motion to give the elected officials a 3% raise. Dave Bentzler gave a second. The Chair stated that that would be in effect for the 2027 election. A vote showed 15 in favor and 1 opposed, and 3 abstained. Carried.

The Chairman asked if there was any further business? Noone had anything else.

A motion to adjourn was made by Nick Vento, second by Dave Bentzler. 19 in favor and 0 opposed. Motion carried at 7:25 PM.
