Board of Review Minutes

                            

June 9, 2025     

                            

Meeting was called to order by Town Chairman, Mike Kudick, at 8:00 am. Present were Chairman Mike Kudick, Supervisors Jim Stradal, Rich Belanger, Peter Mc Cabe, and Austin Van De Walle, Treasurer Shari Uhazie, Clerk Elaine Olson, and Michael Denor – Assessor.

Clerk Olson stated the Board of Review and Open meetings notices were posted and published May 14, 2025, according to State Statutes. Form BOR-C was also submitted on April 03, 2025 to the DOR.

Supervisor Stradal nominated Mike Kudick for Board Chairman. Supervisor Mc Cabe offered a second. Motion carried.

Chairman Kudick moved to have Supervisor Stradal as Vice-Chairman, second by Supervisor Van De Walle, and carried.

Jim Stradal, Peter Mc Cabe, Shari Uhazie, and Elaine Olson completed the mandatory training requirements and the Clerk filed affidavits with the DOR.

Ordinance Sec. 3-3-9 for Confidentiality of income and expense information was verified.

Assessor Michael Denor stated there were no new laws.

There were no amendments made to the Sworn telephone and written testimony policy and the Waiver of BOR hearing request policy that is in place.

A policy for waiver of BOR hearing requests is already in place.

The roll was sworn by the Assessor and accepted by the Clerk. The Assessor verified that all open book changes were made. The roll was made available to examine by all. The Assessor gave the BOR an overview of the figures for the roll.

There were no appeals were filed. The BOR continued to view the roll and converse with the Assessor.

The meeting was adjourned at 10:00 am by Chairman Kudick.
